Located in the South of the Landes, Camping les Acacias*** in Messanges is a traditional family campsite, perfect for outdoor holidays. We offer two types of pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes:
Our bare pitches in Messanges
In our campsite, many pitches are available to you. We have chosen to preserve a large number of bare pitches in the Landes in order to maintain the very essence of traditional camping. Here, we prioritize authenticity, simplicity and the pleasure of living close to nature.
Our 75 camping pitches are flat, bordered by hedges and trees, offering shaded or sunny areas according to your preferences. Also discover our mobile homes for rent in Messanges or our wooden cabin!
Standard Pitch
Settle in with ease on our bare pitches in Messanges, whether you are travelling by tent, caravan, van or motorhome, and fully enjoy your holidays in the heart of nature. Bordered by hedges to preserve everyone’s privacy, our pitches offer you a pleasant and green setting. According to your preferences, choose between full sun, partial shade or shade, for a stay perfectly suited to your desires.
For more comfort, you have the option of adding electricity according to your needs, with a 6A or 10A connection.
Grand Comfort Pitch
For a stay combining the freedom of camping and optimal comfort, discover our grand comfort pitches, specially designed for motorhomes and caravans. Each pitch is equipped with a 10A electrical connection, as well as a drinking water supply and a waste water drainage system. You can therefore set up easily and enjoy maximum facilities throughout your stay, while remaining directly connected.
Ideal for carefree holidays, while retaining the pleasure of outdoor living, these pitches offer you comfort, autonomy and serenity in a natural and friendly setting.
Good to know:
- European socket: remember to bring an adapter for a European power outlet and an extension lead (25m)
- Capacity per pitch: 1 vehicle and up to 6 people
- Pets: dogs (except categories 1 and 2) are accepted, kept on a leash and up to date with their vaccinations
- Water points: drinking water near the pitches
- Motorhome service area: available
For cyclists: rate for two people without electricity €15.30 (from 01.04 to 14.06 and from 01.09 to 30.09); €19.80 (from 14.06 to 04.07 and from 23.08 to 01.09); €28.20 (from 04.07 to 23.08) + tourist tax.
Bonus: if you need to recharge batteries or phone, you can leave them with us at reception, a free service for cyclists travelling the Vélodyssée.

Our sanitary facilities with PRM access
Modern sanitary facilities, completely renovated, are equipped for optimal comfort with hot and cold water, private washbasins, wall-hung toilets, showers and a separate urinal area. Nearby, under the covered hall you will find the dishwashing and laundry sinks including a PRM laundry and dishwashing sink. A baby area is also available, equipped with a bathtub and a shower head.
For people with reduced mobility (PRM), you will find an adapted sanitary area with accessible shower, washbasin and toilet, designed to make their stay easier.
